Growing up in our home, food was never just food. It was everything. Curry leaves hitting hot oil. Kothu roti chopped fresh on a flat iron. Pots that had been simmering since early morning. The kind of cooking that fills a house and stays with you for the rest of your life.
But looking around at the restaurants, the caterers, none of it matched. Watered down. Pre-made. Reheated. The real flavours, the ones that take you straight back to that family kitchen, were nowhere to be found. Nobody was bringing that quality to people. And that felt wrong.
We started during COVID. A dark kitchen, no events, no certainty. Just a conviction that people deserved better. From those first lockdown orders, word spread. What began as one kitchen operation in the hardest period most of us have ever lived through has grown into one of London's most sought-after Sri Lankan catering teams. The food is still made the same way it was in that family kitchen. That's the standard we grew up with. It's the only standard we serve.
